Many tourists and residents are always on the search for a place to enjoy a drink, a light meal or a really good dinner in a special atmosphere. For some months now the newly opened restaurant Hoyo 19 at the golf course between Tías and Puerto del Carmen offers exactly this.
Away from the hectic tourist areas, on the terrace of the restaurant, you can enjoy views of the green fairways and across the sea to Fuerteventura. The small but very fine cuisine of the restaurant offers the perfect dishes for anytime of the day. From a big continental breakfast, to small snacks,
tapas or coffee and cake to the weekly changing menu you will find here both quality and choice for every occasion.
Until the main building is finished they work in a provisional space and are using the large terrace to offer special surroundings for their clients. The actual bar-restaurant offers a great advantage for their clients as here a very personal and caring service can be offered, so often lacking in large restaurants. Especially at dinner time, when the kitchen only opens for reservations, this becomes apparent.
All dishes are freshly prepared to order and it is interesting to see what the weekly change of menu brings, you will always find a vegetarian dish on the menu. Sven Freitag, who has worked in other popular restaurants such as Meson de Tiagua, La Finca or Restaurant Chili, offers a modern international cuisine with only the freshest ingredients, delighting with dishes such as braised rabbit in prune sauce with canarian potatoes or lamb filet with warm lentil salad are some examples of the good and economic dishes on offer.
